Chelsea dominated possession early on, creating scoring opportunities through Nicolas Jackson. However, controversy arose when Tosin Adarabioyo received a yellow card for a foul similar to William Saliba’s red card offense against Bournemouth.

Liverpool capitalized on a penalty kick after Levi Colwill fouled Curtis Jones, with Salah scoring from the spot. A second penalty was awarded but overturned by VAR.

Chelsea equalized in the second half through Jackson’s goal, confirmed by VAR after initially being flagged offside.

Liverpool quickly regained the lead with Curtis Jones scoring, assisted by Salah.

Chelsea continued to threaten, with Christopher Nkunku narrowly missing a Pedro Neto cross.

The win solidifies Liverpool’s position, while Chelsea’s search for momentum continues.
