Strasbourg manager, Liam Rosenior is aware of the threats posed by Nantes, particularly highlighting the significance of Super Eagles winger, Moses Simon as their most dangerous player.

As the two teams prepare to clash at the Stade de la Meinau this Sunday in a critical Ligue 1 matchup, Rosenior emphasizes the need for his squad to tightly mark Moses Simon.

This season, Simon has made a notable impact for Nantes, contributing two goals and three assists, showcasing his vital role in their attacking dynamics.

Rosenior expressed his respect for Simon’s abilities, stating, “Nantes are a well-organized team with talented players, especially Moses Simon, whom I know very well.”

Rosenior also outlined his tactical approach, stressing the importance of disrupting Nantes’ build-up play, particularly from deep positions, which is often facilitated by their player, Chirivella, who he described as highly skilled.

He added, “We must focus on playing to our strengths while simultaneously limiting their opportunities.” With both teams eager for victory, Rosenior anticipates an exciting and competitive match.

Note that the league match will kick off at 5 p.m. on Sunday. Nantes are going into the game as the 10th best-ranked team in the league table, with 8 points in 10 games, while Strasbourg are occupying the 11th spot also with 10 points in 8 games.
